Dear friends, let me introduce the website of the Melodia Art management. My name is Richard Pohl, I am pianist and our agency should follow the visions of my mother, Jarmila Pohlova (reference), recently retiring from her activities.
As I am a performing artist myself, I know enough about difficulties, which has young artist persist while struggling with obstacles of the society nowadays. And there is still a lot of gifted people in our country which just need a chance to get support for presentation of their talent.
Along with aforementioned support of young creative artists we will carry on with benefit concerts raising funds for helping people with serious illnesses and disabilities. For further information on our projects, please, see related sections of our pages.
I am very often asked why our company directs most of its support to youth activities. Becoming an adult is not only a beautiful and trouble-free period, it is at the same time a very fragle period full of various severe risks. In quite a short time, the individual´s future will be decided and it becomes clear if they are going to follow the difficult path of searching, creativity, education and hard work or if they will surrender to indolence and stereotypically marked freelings of permanent unhappiness, envy and negativism.
Considering the fact that nobody doubts the higher quality of life among educated, active and creative people, we seek to support these by our humble means.
We dare to believe that organizing similar top quality events is not only a deeply artistic experience for thouse participating, but that for many this can be a motivation and an example worth following.
